How To UseIt is important to understand how the Rate Import feature works so that you can ensure the spreadsheet is correctly formatted. General Points The following fields are mandatory:
The rate will not be imported if any of these fields are empty.
For the 'Margin' field, if the margin is incorrectly calculated, it will also reject the rate.
If you are using 'Markup', please change the name of the column title from 'Margin' to 'Markup'.
The expected values of the lookup fields for 'UOM' are as follows:

Before the import runs there will be a validation check performed on the spreadsheet to confirm how many rates it has successfully read. If there are any errors in the spreadsheet it will highlight these to the user and ask if they wish to proceed.
As rates are being imported you will be able to see a count on the screen advising the progress of the import.
If the creation of a record fails, it will log the reason for the failure and move on to the next record in the spreadsheet.
